- 2-8 Years of progressive tax (State and Local, SALT, National and
International will all be considered) experience within the Big Four
or Top Ten National Public Accounting Firms
- 2-6 Years of management preferred
- CPA required
- Advanced degree in tax strongly preferred
- FAS 109 and/or FIN 48 strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Trust & Estate Taxation

Senior Accountant
Our client is a leading communications company with a strong national presence.
Job description:
The Senior Accountant will assist in the consolidation of financial statements and play a key role in assisting the audit team. Other responsibilities include:
- Ad hoc reporting to senior management
- Provide GAAP guidance
- Perform aspects of financial analysis
- Provide support for internal and external audit staff
Candidate Background:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-6 years of experience in Big 4 CPA firm strongly preferred
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Offer:
Salary of $70,000 to $80,000, based on experience, with excellent benefits.
Accounting Manager
Our client is a regional manufacturing company with over 100 Million (U.S.) in annual revenue. They are currently seeking an accounting manager due to continued growth and expansion.
Job description:
The Accounting Manager will oversee a team of two Senior Accountants, four Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff and the Payroll team. This position reports to the Controller and the CFO offering great exposure to upper management. This is a hands-on position and will require a "roll up your sleeves" attitude while offering continued training and guidance to support staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Management of up to eight Accounting and Support staff
- Interaction with all levels of the Finance Department
- Supervision and execution of the month-end close
- Daily involvement within the General Ledger providing timely and accurate reports to the Controller and CFO
Candidate Background:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance - MBA or CPA a plus
- 4-6 years of management experience in manufacturing if possible
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with PeopleSoft preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the strong desire to help grow the business
Offer:
Salary of $90,000 to $110,000 with excellent benefits
